Who should buy the Equinox?
The Equinox suits two people who want full-spectrum infrared in a cabin that plugs into a 120V outlet and goes together in an afternoon. Sun Home fits four far-infrared carbon panels and two full-spectrum heaters and rates it to 165°F (74°C). It has no app control.
The Solstice is the same size for $600 less, with far-infrared panels alone. Almost Heaven's Hinton seats two or three and is built in Renick, West Virginia.
What does it take to install?
The cabin takes about 51 by 46 inches of floor, stands 78 inches tall and weighs 541 pounds assembled. It needs a dedicated 120V, 20-amp circuit with a NEMA 5-20 receptacle within reach of its 10-foot cord. Sun Home puts indoor assembly at about two hours, and the panels lock together with magnets.

Eucalyptus, full-spectrum, 120V dedicated. These decide whether it suits your space and your electrical panel.
- Full-SpectrumA full-spectrum cabin gives you the widest wavelength coverage you can buy, since it adds near and mid infrared to far infrared in one room.
- 120V Dedicated CircuitThis model plugs in at 120V on a circuit of its own, through a heavier-duty outlet than a standard wall socket. If your home doesn't have one, an electrician adds the circuit and the outlet.
