Almost Heaven Cube Sauna
Almost Heaven Blackwater 4-6 Person Cube Sauna
Almost Heaven rates its Blackwater cube for four to six on two bench tiers, and a 9 kW Harvia with Wi-Fi control heats it. Electric models need a hardwired 240V, 45-amp circuit; a Harvia M3 wood stove costs the same.

Before you order
This page gathers what Almost Heaven publishes about the Blackwater, checked Oct 10, 2026, and adds up what it costs to install. Our verdict on it runs in Almost Heaven sauna review: are the West Virginia barrels worth it?.
Who should buy the Blackwater?
The Blackwater suits a household that wants a cube for four to six with the heater and Wi-Fi control in the crate. Almost Heaven sells it with a Harvia wood-burning kit at the same price if you'd rather skip the big circuit.
For two to four people, the Pinnacle barrel from the same shop costs about half as much. Setri's Nordheim Loki, built in Minnesota, seats five for less.
What does it take to install?
The cube stands a little over 7 by 6 feet and about 7 feet tall, so plan a level base that size. The 9 kW electric heater needs a hardwired 240V, 45-amp circuit, and the light plugs into a separate 120V outlet. Almost Heaven says the wood kit needs Harvia's protective sheath and a change to the roof. It ships in 8 to 12 weeks.

What to know before you buy
Western red cedar, electric, 240V hardwired. These decide whether it suits your space and your electrical panel.
- Western Red CedarWestern Red Cedar is the high-end sauna wood, and it resists rot and insects naturally. It's aromatic and conducts heat poorly, so benches stay cool enough to sit on at 194°F (90°C).
- ElectricAn electric heater holds a steady temperature on its thermostat and needs no chimney. Many models add app or timer control.
- 240V HardwiredA hardwired model needs a dedicated 240V circuit installed by an electrician. Build roughly $600–$2,500 into your total budget for it.
