Before you order
This page gathers what Almost Heaven publishes about the Pinnacle, checked Oct 10, 2026, and adds up what it costs to install. Our verdict on it runs in Almost Heaven sauna review: are the West Virginia barrels worth it?.
Who should buy the Pinnacle?
The Pinnacle suits a household of two to four with a flat patch of yard and room on the electrical panel. It's the barrel we'd buy if you want everything but the wiring in one crate.
Two people who never host can save about $3,000 with the Salem. If you want to heat with wood, Setri's 4-person barrel comes with an outside-fed stove.
What does it take to install?
Plan a level base the size of the barrel, a little over 6 by 6 feet. An electrician runs a hardwired 240V, 30-amp circuit for the 6 kW Harvia heater, and the light plugs into a separate 120V outlet. The kit ships to the curb in six to eight weeks, Almost Heaven says, and you assemble the staves.
What does the Pinnacle cost all in?
| Cost | Amount | Where the figure comes from |
|---|---|---|
| List price | $7,575 | The regular price at Almost Heaven, recorded Oct 10, 2026.On sale for $6,060 at Almost Heaven for now, which takes $1,515 off the totals here. |
| 240V, 30-amp circuit | Electrician's quote | Hardwired, per Almost Heaven's spec table |
| Level base | Varies | Almost Heaven doesn't include a pad or deck for the cradles |
| Wi-Fi control (Fenix) | About $1,000 | Optional upgrade over the dial-controlled KIP heater |
By our math, the Pinnacle with Wi-Fi control comes to about $8,600 at list, before the electrician and the base. Almost Heaven had it on sale when we checked.

What to know before you buy
Western red cedar, electric, 240V hardwired. These decide whether it suits your space and your electrical panel.
- Western Red CedarWestern Red Cedar is the high-end sauna wood, and it resists rot and insects naturally. It's aromatic and conducts heat poorly, so benches stay cool enough to sit on at 194°F (90°C).
- ElectricAn electric heater holds a steady temperature on its thermostat and needs no chimney. Many models add app or timer control.
- 240V HardwiredA hardwired model needs a dedicated 240V circuit installed by an electrician. Build roughly $600–$2,500 into your total budget for it.
