Who should buy the Classic Legacy?
Buy the Classic Legacy if you're building an insulated sauna room of about 336 to 1,000 cubic feet and your county wants a listed stove. Size it to the room: the small covers up to 512 cubic feet, the medium up to 780 and the large up to 1,000, per Kuuma.

What does it take to install?
The stove needs a 6-inch Class A chimney with no reducers, and Kuuma doesn't supply it. Keep 48 inches clear in front. With shields on both the stove and the wall, the sides can come in to 7 inches and the back to 8, and under a ceiling of 8 feet or less you'll fit a 3-by-5-foot ceiling shield. The stove weighs 375 to 500 pounds and arrives on a pallet at the curb.
